Smart Connectivity for Booster-3: BLE & WLAN
Juice is a manufacturer of chargers for electric vehicles. The Booster-3 is a portable electric vehicle charger that communicates seamlessly with smartphones and a cloud backend via Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi.
Arendi supported Juice in the concept and architecture phase for the new generation of portable chargers Booster-3 with BLE and WLAN communication, before the project was continued internally.
Initial situation, goals & challenges
The Booster-3 units should communicate with the cloud backend via both Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi. Switching between these communication channels had to be seamless.
Project results & customer benefits
